Many Search firms now use extranet type technologies.  It acts as a differentiator.  It allows clients with multiple decision makers in multiple time zones to access assignment information on a 24 x 7 basis. 

The Search firm maintains complete control over the information. All data is secure – access is given only to selected client contacts and only the Search firm has full control over which information is published.
